TechEX26 Minneapolis 2026
TechEX26
We are attending TechEX26 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from October 26–30, 2026, and Ethan Thompson, Software Developer at InkBridge Networks, will be available to meet with research and education networks, identity and access management teams, and security engineers throughout the week.Ethan will be speaking about load balancing EAP in FreeRADIUS. He’ll cover how FreeRADIUS handles load balancing today, why EAP complicates it, and two ways to solve it.
TechEX26 is the Internet2 Technology Exchange, the research and education (R&E) community’s premier technical event of the year. It brings together chief technologists, engineers, cloud architects, security analysts, and identity and access management professionals from universities, research facilities, government, and regional and global R&E networks.
InkBridge Networks is a global leader in network authentication and security, trusted by organisations worldwide to keep their networks safe and accessible. Founded and led by the architects of FreeRADIUS, we bring over 25 years of expertise to solving complex authentication challenges for ISPs, universities, and enterprises.
If you are running eduroam or planning to join it, moving campus Wi-Fi to certificate-based authentication with EAP-TLS, troubleshooting RADIUS and EAP failures, or planning a FreeRADIUS upgrade, we would like to hear from you.
